Privacy Policy

IIMBG Scheduler is a timetable, mess-menu, task, and personal attendance utility built for students of the Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya. It is run by the app owner for enrolled students only.

When you sign in and use the app, we process:

• Your Google account name and email address, provided by Google during sign-in. Sign-in is restricted to active students on the official roster with an exact @iimbg.ac.in address.
• Your roster record (name, email, registration number, batch, section) as supplied by the institute for authorization.
• Content you create: to-do tasks and absence marks you record for your own classes.
• Content you view: timetable sessions for your section and the shared mess menu. Viewing history is not recorded.

We do not collect passwords, payment details, location data, contacts, or device identifiers, and we run no third-party analytics or advertising.

Your data is used only to operate the app:

• Verify you are an active rostered student and keep your session signed in.
• Show your section timetable, the mess menu, and your course-wise absence counts.
• Store your tasks and absence marks so they persist across your devices.

We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers or other third parties. Your tasks and absence marks are private to your account and are never shown to other students. Authentication and database hosting are provided by Supabase, which processes data only to deliver that infrastructure.

Access requires Google sign-in. Timetable and roster data are protected by database row-level security so each student can read only their own section and their own records. Service keys are never exposed in the app. No system is perfectly secure, so avoid putting sensitive personal information in task titles.

Your tasks and absence marks are kept while your account is active so the app works across devices. To delete your tasks, marks, or entire account data, contact the app owner through your institute channels and it will be removed. Roster and timetable records are retained while you are enrolled.

Absence marks are self-reported by you for personal tracking. They are not official institute attendance records and are never shared with faculty or administration through this app.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new revision date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
